[SixClub] LOUSY MFJ RESPONSE (not)

I have exactly the same antenna. The BOOM was bent 45 degrees during shipping! MFJ refunded the full price even though it wasn't their fault (they had taped a poly tube along the boom). I ordered an antenna analyzer with the credit. I later bought an aluminum fencepost from Home Depot and using the bent one as a template made a new boom. The elements were all bent but easy to straighten. This antenna has been up on the roof on an 8' paintpole with a RS Archer TV rotor for about 10 years now and has withstood many windstorms.
I also have MFJ 2m and 432 beams, two antenna tuners and a transceiver and of course the analyzer, and couldn't be happier with their performance. I credit MFJ for kicking off my ham radio hobby - the startup costs were too reasonable to resist.
