I'd have to go way back in the log, but I don't think I've ever worked a 
DX station, (Europe, Aisia, or Africa) below 50.125 except on CS.  
Typically if the band is just opening I hear them right on 50.125  SSB 
and more often than not, they are on CW at 50.110 rather than SSB
 
As soon as the band opens the band plan goes out the window.

I'm a firm believer than no segment should have more than 4 subdivisions.
Most bands have so many segments in the band plans that they get 
ignored. The number should be kept low enough that most will pay 
attention to them.
