All this winter snow & ice, must be result of Icebergs evaporating &
returning to earth.. ;-)

I just wish I could have a transmitting antenna from my apartment (Do
have 10M & 40M wire receiving antennas & use a dual band MFJ
mag-mount 6m/2m antenna for other bands in my apartment, stuck on top
of a steel file cabinet, but don't want to absorb all that RF energy
in close confines in transmitting.).

I often go to a friend's home a few miles away to participate in 10M
nets, but as with 6M, propagation on 10 is LOUSY right now & my
friend has a number of wire antennas strung in the trees in his back
yard, with a Hustler 6-BTV antenna between the trees, mounted to a
long piece of pipe in the ground for other bands..

So much for now, I can smell a pizza in the oven, which means dinner
should just about be ready,

Mobile radios include a Yaesu FT-867D & Kenwood TM-G707A
(Have more HT's than fingers on one hand, all in working condition)
