CB Type Junk??  Seems to me someone spends too much time listening to the 
kiddies on 11m...

RM Italy makes good stuff, yes they do make amps that cover the CB band, 
that doesn't make them "CB type junk".  I have tested and used one of their 
VHF amps, very good quality, good design, good power, clean signal.  Just 
because they are a bit on the cheaper side doesn't make them junk by any 
means.

I know a ham that has a VHF and UHF model, I chat with him on SSB on both 
bands from time to time, years of use and many contests and he hasn't had 
any problem with them.

The fact they build wideband HF amps that CB'ers buy and use illegally is by 
no means a reason to badmouth the company.
