There is an online site called PSKReporter. I think there are some fulltime
6m monitors. It's pretty cool to play with. You send out a cq then check the
site and see who heard you.

marginal propagation that CW and SSB are missing?

I am guessing that digital mode software can be set to beacon CQ's,
pause to listen, then auto-respond?
If that is correct then we could look at the saved log to see when the
propagation was open.
