YES its TRUE.

 the ARRL's time table was the end of this year ! thats why I had a 
disscusion with Dave Sumner, my concern was that they had gotten OFF track 
and it wasnt going to HAPPEN this year.   I think, the VHF UHF Community has 
been PATIENT, long enough !

Well that sounds plausible.
I know the were doing some VUCC testing earlier in the week.
Also there was a response note from K1ZZ on the [SixClub] Reflector saying 
"VUCC SOON" !!!

I just checked my account at 01:30Z and the "Award Account" only listed:

-None-
DXCC:K1VU-UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
WAS:K1VU

Absolutely nothing about VUCC at that time !!!

It's coming, they had at one point promised by the end of the year.
I can't remember what year. This, Last, the one before that.
I know we had a firm promise until the "Triple Play Award" pushed it aside.

The VHF+ community has been writing to all their Division Directors to push 
for VUCC.

Maybe this is going to be our Christmas Present :-) !!!
