True, but so what. You need repeats almost all the time on every other mode, too until you fill it all in.

Only packet and (FEC) Pactor modes self correct. There are many, MANY digital modes now, and NONE of them do. But that doesn't keep 'em from being incredibly efficient and useful.

CW IS the ORIGINAL digital mode.
