Just heard someone on 50.125 buried in the static, a 2/2 signal.

I heard CQ, CQ and can tell there are bits and pieces of a SSB
signal, but not enough to work with even though I usually have
a good ear for weak-signal work.

Are signals coming up or is the band fading?

I have to run some errands so will be away from the rig for a
few hours ...
