10 meters was open earlier this evening & those of us in 5 region
were copying 4 region contacts..
20 meters was getting the South Pacific IIRC reports during the
Houston SHOT net Tuesday night net..
Meanwhile my 6m is down until I can find a way to mount a multi-band
antenna in a place that will not feedback RFI to my antenna tuner,
which just got back from the shop to replace a diode or two.. (And I
have a limited budget to do it with as IRS refund this year was much
less than last year..! ). The tuner was line of site with the antenna
about 5-6 ft away, resulting in SWR's that could not be controlled
with the tuner.
