Just had a thought, Aron. 
If the rig your using has a true "split" function (that you hardly 
use), why not program your (different) PL tones into each side of a 
memorized pair, T&R? 
Then just assign a channel memory to the whole arrangement to get 
there on demand.

I am using the FT-8900 and it does not seem to have more than one 
tone. I will try again.
