[SixClub] Is 6 Open? I hear a PY2 station on 28.400 (heard in SE-GA)

I've copied some South American stations on 10m stronger than 
local's,  one last Sunday on 28.415 was very readable but doubt he 
could have heard my paltry 100 watt mobile, when local contacts were 
simply not making it halfway across Houston, Tx. (Was best when I was 
on an elevated stretch of Texas 225 in Pasadena, Tx. on Houston's east side)..

Some at Thursday night BVARC   www.bvarc.org  indicated much  6 & 10m 
traffic between South America & the pacific rim countries, but hey, 
when pickin' is slim, S. America is fine & dandy..!

My 6M mobile antenna is temporarily dead until I can replace some 
coax & run a ground strap to the chassis.
