Doc,
So how come they haven't sent me my password yet????

If it's just a HOBBY (I hear this used by elitist groups like Dillo, etc.
all the time to justify their existence at $100/yr, etc.), why is it locked
down at all?? There nothing on the site that is MONEY involved like credit
card info, identity theft, magazine membership (like QST is), etc,
etc.....ALL the 6club site has been is a REPOSITORY of information....that
people has GIVEN to it for free....without any passwords, etc..

NOW to view it, you NEED to login?? DUMB DUMB DUMB.....If it was MEMBERS
ONLY PAID info (like QST Magazine), ok......but public info that has been on
the site FOR DECADE+ years? NOPE...sorry, cant agree to that...makes NO
logical sense at all.

There is/was a better way to do it..still I haven't gotten my password
yet...and it's been, what, 3 days now?? SO much for me getting into to read
MY own submitted stuff....(OH WAIT, the bandplan was my suggestion on the
way it was worked up.....big whoop; like I need to READ that....funny the
Amateur Code of Conduct is right below it...but there's no link to THAT from
the main page....DUH..think about it)

I run an open repeater, always have, always will.....always have two rules
on it....KEEP IT LEGAL and HAVE FUN..
As long as they follow #1, #2 I don't care about.....and that's the way ham
radio SHOULD be....not requiring logins and secret meetings and
conspiracies, etc (Talk to the folk in S CA about trying to put a repeater
on...Good luck! Texas is getting that way...which is why I don't consider
the VHFFM Society the coordinating group anymore)
