Thank the Good Lord that electrons do not transfer odors!

If by Forum you mean this list then I have one that I have
raised on another 6M forum ...

As there any reason to prefer the Motorola Syntor 9000
VHF Low Band 28-54 MHz,100 Watt Model #T99VX+006W or
the Kenwood TK-6110-K2 35-50mhz?

Questions:  Are their proprietary parts in the Motorola that
given its age may fail and be unobtanium?  Is the software to
reprogram the Motorola any more readily available than the
Kenwood?  Has anyone successfully reprogrammed and tweaked
the Kenwood for both 6 & 10M?
