The problem is that if he joined Tubely, basically he gave away his account password to them!!! That way they can access ALL his contacts and send invites on HIS behalf. Tubely sells all this contacts to spammers.

Several NGs have banned people from who this invites arrive. Extreme, but necessary.

If your spam filter allows filtering by text then do what I did and put in 
the http://www.tubely.com as a trigger and your done, you will still see the 
group messages and emails from the person that the spam is referring to, but 
you won't see the invites anymore.
