[SixClub] Anyone tried a Yaesu VX-7R on 6M?

A "little" carrier is more tolerable in a SSB receiver than 
a "lot"
of carrier - the common modulation form of AM

I am guessing it is probably DSB with partially-suppressed 
versus
full-carrier but do not know for sure.  The specs refer to 
"1W carrier".

I figured after the several years the VX-7 has been out some 
curious
Ham would have tested all of this out already.
