[SixClub] Anyone tried a Yaesu VX-7R on 6M?

I have a VX-7R but never tried it on 6m. I also have an old Lafayette
HA-650 AM 6m rig (2.5 watts). Is there enough activity on AM to fire them
up?

Anyone tried a Yaesu VX-7R on 6M?

It says it will do FM and AM on 6M - anyone tried the AM
mode via an amp on 50.125 or thereabouts?

How did their SSB receivers handle the AM signal?

On would need enough of a carrier (from some external source)
on the IF frequency to function as a BFO to copy SSB on
receive -
anyone try that?

If so, how well did the VX-7 receive the SSB signals?
