Greetings.
I would like to offer up the following two radios to the group prior
to putting them on eBay. They just need a good home and someone to
take them out portable whenever possible.
Yaesu FT-690r1: This was one of my first six meter radios. I worked MN
to OH with the whip during the 2006 CQ July Contest, and 2.5W to my 4
element beam works great whenever the band is open. It has a few
scratches on the bottom cover, the back light and memory battery are
out, but works and looks pretty good otherwise. The whip is in good
condition.
Icom IC-502: I haven't owned this one as long, but it works good. I
operated field day with this to a loop, and used it to listen for
openings last summer. The case is in good condition, but one of the
little plastic buttons that holds one of the covers is busted. Easy
fix. The light works good. The plastic protective film is still on the
switch labels and serial plate. The whip is in good condition.
$135 each, plus $15 to ship in the USA. Reasonable offers considered.
Paypal or USPS money order only. Cash discount if you come and get it-
I'm in EN34. Otherwise, I'll ship USPS priority mail. Please contact
me off-list, of course.
7 day ROR from when you receive it. These radios work good and are as
described. If not, send 'em back.
Photos of both radios are available at:

I'm happy to answer any question you have, please feel free to drop me
an email.
