Hello all,

So how did everyone fare in the ARRL VHF Contest this last weekend. I was only on 6M as I don't have any other VHF/UHF bands right now. Not being a hardcore contestor, I mainly cherry picked needed grids but worked a few others just for the count. My final tally wasn't much but had a load of fun. 6M was open several times during the contest, none of them spectacular but a couple of decent openings from Southern California to the Midwest, Pacific NW and SW Canada. Also had a nice opening into HI which I worked KH6ZM on CW.

45 QSO's made (appx 10 hours of operating - mostly listening and tuning)
30 Grids worked - 19 of these were new ones for me - count now at around 200
11 states including Hawaii, also worked several VE's
1350 Total points

Gear Used: FT-100D 100W into 5 element CC A505S modified for 50-51Mhz @ 40 feet
