When the going gets tough the tough get going ... these
are the times that Hams need to have quicker networks to
share awareness of openings from 160 - 2M!

There are some good networks out there, mostly designed
by and for contesters, but some 10M and 6M-specific for
not-necessarily-contesters.

I was "discovering" 6M in 2008 and observed the directional
movement of propagation, N-S, E-W, etc. Thus an opening
from the PNW to the MidWest and/or East may not even be
experienced in the South - then sometimes the prop favored
the central US from N to S and the East and West would not
experience it at all. Exciting and frustrating!

For the many who cannot have a rig on but who may be able
to get to one - are there any prop monitoring networks that
use auto-dialers to call cellphones? There have been many
occasions that I could have gotten on the air had I received
timely work of prop that impacted west central FL.
