[SixClub] Best Mobile 6M Antennas?

Many nowadays seem to be using Halo style antennas on 6M Mobiles. As far as
a Car Antenna working, it should. Remember you need 4.5 Feet for a 1/4 Wave
on 52.00. You would have to experiment looking for a Car Antenna that tall I
would think? Of course you could add a Loading Coil or even a very small
wire to the Top of the Antenna. Would be Fun to play with at any rate. The
Car Antenna motor is quite strong. The antenna is raised up and down by a
pulley, and heavy plastic line of some sort? An NMO style Antenna can also
be used quite easily as well. At present I use a NMO Larsen type Antenna
mounted on an L Bracket between the Hood & Fender. Is out of the way, simple
to install, and does'nt look to bad on the Brand New Pickup <grin>.
