Just Alodine (TM) or have someone Alodine the elements for that shiny
Gold color. It'll prevent them from turning dull and every one will
think it's a TV antenna.

However this brings the question of just how many channel 2's are there
out there? I doubt this will directly affect many hams.
In the coming years (near future) although not mandated stations will be
migrating from the low band VHF to the high band due to more favorable
band conditions. After the change to digital I think I read there will
only be about 6 Channel 2's in the entire country and they will most
likely be moving up within the following 5 years or so. Once low band
VHF TV is gone (maybe 10 years or so) what, or who, will we pick up for
neighboring frequency users.

Would this prevent an irate neighbor from brining a civil suit?
