It has been opening here (EM15, central Oklahoma) in late afternoon to 
early evening. It was still open last night at about 2045 CDT (0345Z?)
when W5DNA came home and I had to get back to domesticity.

Recently, on the days that 6 has been open in the evenings, there has
been pronounced 2m ducting in the mornings. I don't know if this is
happenstance, or if the effects are somehow related. We had ducting
again this morning and yesterday, to the extent that I was hearing an
out-of-state 2m repeater. Days like that, I'd be happy to stay home
and try for some 2m DX, but retirement didn't pay enough when I tried
it the first time, and so I'm a wage slave again.

We have Monday off (US Memorial Day holiday), so I don't have to get 
up and drive in to work. There'll be no ducting, and 6 will be closed,
of course.
