[SixClub] Which Rig for Six ?

Thanks Larry,

I've got a Collins S-line with the 62S-1 six and two transverter that ( in the
past ) has held it's own on 6 and 2 ... I can hear an increase in noise when I
select the antenna, so I don't think sensitivity is in question.

I just wonder about all the dsp filtering for receive , and is that necessary
for six meters ? They ( Yaesu ) don't have roofing filters for six meters
yet, and maybe the nerer contest radios have better noise blankers ( ?? )

I also have a FT-767 with all the 6/2/432 modules and I just bought a Mirage
amp off ebay to boost the six meter from 10 to 160 watts.

I just sold a motorcycle and if I don't buy a radio, the money will dissappear
with my wife at the mall.

I also have a TR-751 that I bought for 2m ssb mobile that was never a
sucessful plan, so it could be used as a fixed base on 2 with an amp.

Maybe I should just invest in antennas ? LOL !!!
