That's why they make wireless headsets with mikes<:-))
That's what I need to add to my VHF/UHF station for  weather nets as I 
can't get in there to disconnect it anyway.

I use wireless keyboards and mice on the computers as they don't get 
disconnected either (except for the one in the shop...if I have enough time)
