As these are recipes is there any need to take into account the diameter
of the elements? I'd be using either 3/4 or 1" copper or possibly
Aluminum tube. With aluminum it might go as high as 1/2".
Of course it'd probably be almost as easy to get the beam and rotator
working again. OTOH I think I like the idea of being able to listen to a
good vertical and watch the scope on the 756 Pro when working.
Too bad the AV640 quit working. I worked a bunch of stations before the
wasps moved into the matching network.<sigh>
