Which is the reason that I most often hang out at 50.135

Not that I am on that often.., as squelch on my scanner hasn't broken 
on 6m all day.. (Have turned off 2, & 70cm local repeaters due to 
much of what you describe & have contacted applicible repeater owner 
with suggestions & comments in private e-mail & phone calls.
