[SixClub] Merry Christmas to all

When Houston's KPRC goes digital from analog, I feel that I will see a lot
more activity than the past several years..

Being mobile is a handicap on SSB, so I bought an M2 HO Loop last spring &
tried it out on ARRL field day with someone elses radio with the antenna
about 50 ft. above ground level (Which was 40 ft. higher than on the back of
my pickup.). Didn't make any QSO's, but was able to hear more than the
background noise..

Ditto when I had the radio at a Boy Scouts Jamboree On The Air, but that
weekend too, 6M in Houston was dead.. (Only QSO was a demo with another
local ham, who was expecting my call, otherwise it would have been another
big Zip, Zero, None...).

Merry Christmas, I'm about to make a hasty trip to grocery store while it's
still open.
