Quite all right.

Nature throws a lot of us a curve. I'm back to *almost* as good as I
was, except for a limp and for age which is a big limiting factor
particularly with the weight I can lift. I want to replace the current
antenna system (except the 7L C3i on six) with a 30-10 meter log and a 3
or 4L (shorty 40) but I've been offered a heavy duty 3L at a very good
price. Unfortunately I don't know if I can handled that much weight up
on the tower even with help. If I can get the tribander down easily,
then with help I should be able to handle the 166# of the 3L which may
be a "shorty" but it ain't all *that" small. The elements are still
50'. The 100 MPH version is only 80 some pounds and that I could mange.
Unfortunately I can't get the same kind of a deal on one. Oh, and the
144/440 arrays at 130 feet are going to go. They are getting replaced
with a couple of side mounted verticals, one of which is already there
on the big tower.

I find it frustrating that I can't just go out and climb the tower, or
go to the airport and take off for where ever I want, like I could 10,
or even 5 years ago. I suppose most people who have been active feel
that way as they get older.

At any rate, IF I can get the shorty 40 with the 7L 6-meter C3i on the
big tower and the M^2 10-30LP8 up on a 25G at the West end of the shop
I'll be happy. Unfortunately there's almost a 2 month wait for the
10-30LP8 and I'd need to order it now (which is not a good time) <sigh>
That means it'd be pretty chilly by the time I could put it up.

73 and hang in there.
