Hang in there.
It took me 6 months of some pretty intensive physical therapy and a lot of
Tylenol with Codeine to get this far and I still work out three times a
week. All I had to do was rebuild a bunch of circuitry and atrophied muscles
with no physical injury except for the one between my ears. I remember how
to run but my leg doesn't although I found my speed has increased
dramatically when I go caught outside in the rain tonight. My lower left
leg and foot still feel like a Novocaine shot is wearing off, but the
balance on that side is slowly coming back. I've built up the strength and
as long as I take my time I can climb fairly easy. I'm up to 300# at 15
repetitions after 2 sets of 12 to 15 at 280# for a warm up on a leg press
and I've gotten rid of about 22#.
