six  meters is forbidden as the authorities do not want TVI problems! That is 
what I  was told. Anyway there are much more important issues for ham radio 
in Thailand  other than 6 meters. The real disappointment in the new regs was 
the lack of an  allocation on 75 meters for phone contests. That was asked for 
but not granted.  Now in phone contests the Thai stations have to operate on 
the lower end of 80  and hope stations listen down for them or make sked for 
the lower freq on 80.  (This is just another reason why the worldwide band plans 
the ARRL pushes won't  work)
