I have had 2 of each here at the same time. Over time the TS-60's both
lost their displays and one lost a PA.

The FT-736's have never skipped a beat since I bought them 15+ years ago.

Take the 736 and you will be ahead.

73's Mike K9MK/5

Dont trade,..............
go read the reviews on that radio, it has plug in modules that go nuts.

                                              Thats my opinion

I may have the chance to trade my Kenwood TS-60 for a Yaesu FT-736 with
6m/2m/440. Other than the obvious difference in output power and base only
operation due to size(minus) and multiband/internal PS(plus), can anyone
give me reasons to trade or not trade.

I don't use the Kenwood much at all in the truck and it would be nice to
have a 6m/2m rig in the house besides the Kenwood TS-711A 2m only but still
have the SSB available.

Thanks gang!
Larry
