My problem is that I do NOT have a base unit & when band openings
happen, it takes a few minutes to get my pickup to an area with
little electrical interference to get out on 6m..
Meanwhile the weather in Houston, Tx. has been wild in recent days
with some heavy T-storms punctuated by a few tornados & straight
force winds to contend with. Maybe it is these weather fronts that
is assisting those getting through to EL29 (Houston Texas..???
