[SixClub] W9FS heart attack

I had lunch with a few of the local VHF guys here in North Alabama yesterday,
and one mentioned that he had seen reference to advantages of low six meter 
antennas... six to twelve feet above ground especially for high angle contacts.

Anyone with any additional thoughts ?  


My main antenna will be a five element long boom at 140 feet.

I had considered another at 70 feet, but should I be thinking lower,
or do I need an az-el to point the beam upward ?
