please be advised I have the same problem with cox I am going through the
ARRL forwarding service.

Please post this:
---

Any 6M hams in Arizona that can hear the 52.525 FM/CW interference, please
contact me by email.
We need to track this down.

It sounds like cw, buts its garbage and has been going on now for more than
2 weeks right on the FM calling channel.
Sometimes it slows down to next to nothing and then picks right up again. I
am hearing it right now.

Let's see if we can start gathering some real data toward solving this
program. This issue has mostly been reported in the Phoenix area but now we
have one report from Tucson. For anyone with a 6M beam or DF equipment,
please start making measurements and e-mailing the data to me. Here is the
data that I think is necessary:

Date and Time of Observation
Your Station Latitude & Longitude
Description of your station (Rig, antenna, etc.)
Direction of interference peak signal strength
Frequency of signal (zero beat if you have SSB/CW capability)
Interference signal strength (S-units or dB above background noise)
Characteristics of interference or sound card capture

If the interference is not mobile we should be able to start narrowing down
the search area with only a few good observations. We need to get a team of
6m operators together and dedicated to finding this interference. If we
don't start gathering actual data we will never get this issue resolved.
Once we get the signal isolated to a general area we may need to go mobile
for more detailed observations.

Thank you,
