[SixClub] Rag chews on 6 meters

When the band is "hot", I prefer to chase grids. It
might be because I want to give mine to as many who
need it as possible. Possibly because right now I am
confined to operating as a mobile with 100 watts and a
whip antenna.
Yet, I also like to chew the fat at times. It cane
be fun.
Sunday I worked two all time new grids EM40 and
EM41. In the 16 years previously I've had better
operating conditions. Such as two stacked 5 element
beams at 30 ft, at 1,100 ft ASL (500 ft above
surrounding terraine), and 150 watts. So, I was happy
to get the two new ones with my present set up.
Also, Sunday, I had a nice conversation with a
fellow in EL88. Learned quite a bit about his area,
interesting stuff too. Things I would never have
known otherwise and I feel richer for to contact.
So, to answer the question. Like some of the guys
responding I like to rag chew sometimes and I like to
chase grids some of the time.
