I like good old paper QSL cards better.

Me too....... the more colorful, the better.

As a kid I treasured the picture postcard QSLs that had palm trees and ocean
in the background. I promised myself I would go there someday, and I've been
lucky enough to scuba dive in most of the Eastern and Western Caribbean.

I've also snagged several rare DXpeditions on 20 meters, but I have never sent
for a QSL because (1) I already know I worked them (2) It would be a cookie
cutter QSL.

I am a life member. But I don't necessarly agree with everything they do.

My grandkids won't know the difference anyway when they look at the awards,
so I'd be just as happy with a SMIRK or SWOT award vs a VUDXCC.
