[SixClub] Echo link net

I am a little bit confused, why not have JUST, an echo link net ? I think
its fair to say that we all have computers, and the internet. then we don't
have to fight for a freq, which is what's to happen if we try to start a net
on 20 meters.then there's the net control issue. and what happens if we
don't have a net control, somebody parks on our freq. and they have every
right to.

But on echo link we can have private meetings and no interruptions. (
correct me if I am wrong ) this just seems by far the easiest way to do
this. I don't currently even own a headset for a computer but wally world is
right down the Rd.

I haven't been on echo link in a good while but I seem to remember that
they have basically private chat rooms.
that you have to be allowed to access.
                                          Joey
