My last AM contact was 40 meters using my Viking Ranger (which I built from
a kit) so it would have been the summer of 1961. I'd zero beat the guys
running SSB and run PTT. One day one of them mentioned I should check the
carrier supression as I had a fair amount creeping in. <:-))
