[SixClub] Odd Rig Behavior on 6M

Just wondering how much current the 897 and auto tuner actually draws
and why you are not running it straight off the power supply?
Something does sound fishy with power strip/ and that power strip interface

The FT897 is not capable of drawing enough current through normal leads over
a normal distance to make more than a noticeable drop let alone this much
which means the meter can not be right unless there is some other place for
the voltage drop to develop

If the 897D actually did draw that much it would be a smoking heap which
means to me that either you have something between the battery and the radio
that is allowing 6 meter RF to cause it to malfunction, or it's causing an
erroneous reading from the volt meter.
