There are 4 or 5 licensed 6 meter repeaters in Houston, Tx (EL29), 
but I have yet to reach one of them.

I understand that all but one are in the owner's back yard & not on 
tall buildings, one licensed repeater is linked to the Salt Grass 
Link System whenever 6 meters is coming in to 2 meter & 70cm 
repeaters on the linked system which covers a wide area of SE Texas & 
several locations in western Louisiana.
