THIS IS THE LETTER I RECEIVED FROM THE PEOPLE WANTING
TO GIVE AWAY 6 METERS ......GOT TO LOVE THEM ....

("So why ask the users groups about a frequency they
obviously don't use?" this is their additude ....)

here is the letter

Bruce,

I suggested the use of 200 kHz on 6M, but well above
the DX portion of the band. So why ask the users
groups about a frequency they obviously don't use?
Besides those frequencies are designated for such use
in the current ARRL Bandplan.

The frequencies we are using for our 6M OFDM HSMM
testing are between 50.3 - 50. 8 MHz with the FCC
Experimental License of WC9XLP. No testing is planned
for 2M at this time.

To date we have received no complaints of any QRM
whatsoever.

We hope to achieve a raw data rate of 240 kbps. Such
rates can readily be used for such multimedia as
digital streaming video and audio. Should be lots of
fun.

Hope that answers your qusetion.

73, John Champa - K8OCL
ARRL Chairman
HSMM Working Group
