Hi Steven,

Actually, I'm not the one who is in the market; it was the original
poster. I have a few rigs that will get on 6m nicely, including an
FT-817 (QRP), an FT-847 and Ten-Tec's so-called "6N2."

For perspective, I should add that this was a local swapmeet in Fontana,
CA, and it has been about 5 years since I went there. I've been a ham
for 40 years now, and I used to enjoy the swapmeets when there was a lot
of vintage (ca. 1965) gear. The computers didn't bother me that much
because that's another hobby (and profession) for me, and usually I
could find something that I needed like the latest QRZ CD or some bulk
blank media. There was also a fair amount of computer software for sale
that was part of a computer purchase that wasn't supposed to be sold
separately, but the club that ran the swapmeet didn't seem inclined to
do anything about that. I found it ironic that there was so much
computer and related stuff for sale, when there was a huge computer
swapmeet nearby that operated three weeks out of every month.

I always enjoyed the swapmeets at Pacificon and Ft. Tuthill (AZ state
convention) and would like to think that there are still some good ones
left. Regretably, I've never been to Dayton.

As best I remember, the last time I attended the ham swap meet in Puyallup, WA it occupied two floors of a large fair building with no OT items in sight. But I never would have remembered to check it out except for an avid swap meet coworker.
