6 METERS - Calling Freqs

A little confusion as to what frequencies are
preferred for what, may be regional differences?

 > Calling frequency is 50.125
 > 52.525 FM.  On SSB around 50.200
 > 50.125 is the SSB call frequency

6 METERS -  Excellent System

 > Not much doing at this time of the year on 6m but
 > maybe different down your way... if you have an

What would one defines as "an excellent system" on 6M,
one that has the best chance of overcoming weak conditions?

1.  Highly directional 5+ element beam w/rotator?

2.  Beams for both vertical and horizontal polarization?

3.  Transmit power 500+ Watts?

4.  Mast-mounted receive pre-amp?

5.  Low loss coax cable?

6.  Other?
