That would be too much work driving.

Driving.  I use a voice recorder when running counties, but it is currently
missing.  As for 6, it isn't as complicated.  I have a desk next to me where
the radio is mounted and a clipboard.  When it is safe, I can take short
notes and transcribe them when I stop.  I won't bother with it if it isn't
safe.  I will be replacing my voice recorder this week and should have it by
the weekend.
