Azden made some good gear, often well ahead of
others in features.

One of their greatest failings was to use a
proprietary 12-pin mic connector on several rigs
that has now become essentially unobtanium rendering
otherwise good used Azdens worthless.

I have heard that some Hams have hacked them
with 8-pin connectors but have not seen an
article nor spoken with anyone who has done
that mod.  It sure would seem to be a worthwhile
mod if one can get at that section of the panel.
