The last day to check in to the Missing You Like Candy Net is Friday,
April 7th. Due to a lack of check-ins, a lack of available substitute
net controls for times I'm unavailable, and a need to free up time for
starting new 30m nets, I am closing the Missing You Like Candy Net, the
SSB 6m/2m/70cm ragchew net. Through Friday, April 7th, the Missing You
Like Candy Net will continue to meet at 8PM on Tuesdays on 432.110 MHz,
at 8PM on Fridays at 144.190 MHz, and at 6PM on Saturdays at 50.140 MHz.
Thanks to all who checked in.
For a parting joke, here are the Top Ten Missing You Like Candy Net
excuses:
10. At least it lasted longer than Britney's first marriage.
9. At least I didn't try to sex up the net.
8. I should have run a better campaign in Ohio and Florida.
7. It's not like I started a war in Iraq.
6. OK, OK, having someone named Jason start the net on Friday the 13th
wasn't such a great idea.
5. OK, OK, naming the net after the lyrics of a Mandy Moore song wasn't
such a great idea.
4. Barney the Dinosaur's grand conspiracy undermined the net.
3. At least I never asked on the air if Chicken of the Sea was chicken
or fish.
2. You start a net with the propagation you have, not the propagation
you want.
1. It's all Britney's fault!
