Hi Ben,
I used to turn a 3 element 15M beam and two 11 element 2M beams with my TV
rotor. The rotor was the type where the mast (gas pipe in my case) passed
through the rotor allowing for a thrust bearing about 4-5 feet below the
rotor. That combo was mounted to a TV antenna mast on brick chimney. It
did slow down some in the wind but I used it for years without failure.

Hello Listers,
Well after I thought I would no longer need this list
I find myself once again needing it so I am back
again. I just last week bought a used FT-100. This
coming spring I will moving into a house. I still find
myself struggling with one problem. The problem is
with antennas. My orignial thought was to go these
loops from KB6KQ and stack 4 loops on a pole and achor
it to the house. I have no tower and they frankly cost
to much. My other thought I have recieved no comment
on is what about these long wire dipoles that Antenna
Works makes for 6 and 2 meters. I only have a puny tv
rotator.
thanks & 73,
