Yes and No.
Yes a TV rotor like a Channel Master 9521 or an Alliance U100/110 models
can easily handle a 5 element 6M beam on a 12 ft boom. The trick is you
must keep the boom close to the top of the rotor, say within 2 foot. I
have a 9521 turning a Cushcraft A50-5S 5el 6M yagi without any problems
even in the high winds of the Mojave Desert.
No on stacking with a standard TV rotor. One exception might be if you
mount the rotor within a tower and use a thrust bearing, then you might
get by with a short seperation distance but if I we're going that far,
get a Alliance HD-73 and stack away.
