I was running 150W through 75 ft of LMR-400 to a 3 el beam.  There
was SSB activity from .125 to over .300!  I also made a couple of CW
QSO's as well.  I did not  hear any AM activity but I really was not
looking for it either.  The band was so open I'm sure your 2.5W would
have easily made the midwest grids.

I'm in FN31hl.  It's in the SW corner of Connecticut near the NY
boarder.  If you know CT at all I'm just north of Danbury.
