On Field Day the Brazos Valley Amateur Radio Club (BVARC) will have a
new 6 meter beam (Don't know make or model) that is about the
footprint of a single car garage in size for 6 meter use. Radio used
will likely be an ICOM 746 Pro if they use the same equipment as last year.

The club will likely concentrate on SSB, but may also try FM if all
heck breaks loose. Last year over 100 contacts were made in less
than an hour & half in the early evening 6:00 to about 7:30 P.M.(CDT)
with many contacts from the west coast (Oregon & Washington states)
and from Florida.

BVARC club call is "KK5W" & will be operating from Richmond, Texas in
Fort Bend County near the Brazos River, 1 mile south of US-90-A
intersection & UPRR tracks..
